WA ‘Freestyle’ Hip Hop Festival and the official closing party of National Youth Week

Cultural Infusion was proud to present the WA ‘Freestyle’ Hip Hop Festival, the concluding event for WA’s 2007 National Youth Week activities. The action-packed day encouraged all ages involvement to experience some of Perth’s most highly talented and energetic Hip Hop artists on Sunday 22 April 2007 at the Perth Cultural Centre.

The day included a range of Hip Hop workshops including Hip Hop dance, DJ & MCing, followed by battles, comps and showcase performances that celebrated youth and Hip Hop culture. The event was supported by Lotterywest, WA Office of Children & Youth, WA Office for Multicultural Interests, Propel Arts and National Youth Week.
