Touring Numburindi Dancers - Indigenous Dancers

The Numburindi Dancers, from Numbulwar, East Arnhem Land in Australia’s Northern Territory

The group include: Wurranan (Medicine Men), traditional song men and dancers. Their culture has maintained its strength and it is for this reason that elder and Didgeridoo player, Uncle Ernest Numamurdirdi, is passionate about sharing and exchanging traditions with the wider community. They feel it is important to impart their cultural knowledge to the younger generations and do so through the teaching of dance, song, stories and traditional hunting and bush tucker activities in both metropolitan and regional schools.

Touring Indonesian Dance & Song

Traditional Indonesian and Balinese Dance workshops providing interactive activities and information
on Indonesian and Balinese history and culture.

Students will have the opportunity to learn Indonesian music and songs, dance steps and the pholiosophy behind them.

Touring Les Bâtons Français - French Theatre

 

We will have you in hysterics as our French Theatre duo, Les Bâtons Français, takes you on a hilarious journey based on the rich history of French culture and classical theatre.

It’s a romantic, dramatic and clever comedy with wacky characters that will have you laughing for days afterwards! Students will be introduced to elements of French theatre, music, language and culture.

Cypher Sapiens - Touring SA early March 2010

 Cultural Infusion proudly presents Cypher Sapiens in Genesis, a distinctive Hip Hop piece, exploring the evolution of Hip Hop dance. Cypher Sapiens will dispel myths and stereotypes, and give audiences the opportunity to appreciate Hip Hop as both a high energy dance genre and an effective theatrical medium.  

In conjunction with the Adelaide Fringe festival, the Cultural Infusion schools program is touring ‘CYPHER SAPIENS’ to South Australia in late February early March 2010.

   After a successful 2009 Australian tour Cypher Sapiens will be performing at in the Adelaide Fringe Festival at venue:

  • 2nd of March 2010 CYPHER SAPIENS PERFORMANCE – 7:00 pm Tickets: Adults $10 - ComCard $7.50 - under 12 $5.00                                    

 ‘CYPHER SAPIENS’ will also be doing school workshops and performances, touring both South Australia and Victoria in early March 2010.  Sides will split as Cultural Infusion’s nationally acclaimed Commedia dell’Arte duo Mattopancetta take to the stage on a hilarious journey of improvisation influenced by 15th Century Italian classical theater. It’s loud, dramatic, clever comedy with zany characters that will keep audiences laughing for days afterwards.
