Les Bâtons Français - French Theatre

It’s a romantic, dramatic and clever comedy with zany characters that will have you laughing for days afterwards! Students will be introduced to elements of French theatre, music, language and culture.

Les Bâtons Français 50 minute interactive program is suitable for both primary and secondary audiences. The show also includes French language that is accessible to beginner French students and above.

“De France avec amour”
Paris, the city of lights, the city of love! Come on a journey to the streets of France in this comedic yet touching tale.  A shy young man finally decides to pursue his love but along the way encounters obstacles both strange and wonderful. The show features intricate physical comedy, puppetry, music and mime.
