Jamel Kaur Dhillon has a degree in Administration Management with majors in both Aboriginal Studies & Psychology. She also has Workplace Training and TESOL qualifications. She is dedicated to cross cultural and interfaith work. As the daughter of Australian world music ambassador, Dya Singh, Jamel has travelled the globe since she was very young performing with her father. This has helped her develop a keen understanding of a variety of cultures, languages and community structures. Jamel helped co-ordinate Cultural Infusions Parliament of World Religions Opening and Closing ceremony and was also the Project Manager for GreenFaith Australia’s 'Walking Humbly' pre-Parliament trip around the Murray Darling Basin. She has developed two main programs which are part of the Health and Wellbeing umbrella including HICCUP (Help Increase Cross Cultural Understanding Program) and RACE (Religious Awareness & Cultural Education).
